Another Plugs, Wires, and Shield Post.
I'm going to get the NGK's and MSD wires (the news ones if I can find them). The heat shield I'm going with is Glacials I think. Now with the the dielectric grease...I can get this from any auto parts store correct? Also, 40 gap seem seem good to start with. My cars all sotck with a little over 8k miles, except for the catch can.
.040 should be fine.
Dielectric grease comes in individual packets for less than a dollar at any autoparts store. Usually a purple packet.
Glacial has the new MSDs as well, and the iridiums, and the heat shield.

I don't have any of the plugs listed up on the site, but when you're ready to order drop me a line and I'll get some for ya
The heatshields/catch cans/plug wires can be ordered directly from the catalog

Confused, just wondering why you close the gap on a stock engine that comes from the factory gapped at .052? It seems to me that the wider gap more fuel gets burned. I am from the old school and need some understanding on this issue. Thanks.
BB, a larger gap gives a hotter spark, but a smaller gap gives a stronger spark. As you increase the performance of the vehicle, spark blowout becomes quite common on them. That's why you go with a smaller gap to resist misfiring under heavy load
