im going to buy msd coil pack and msd wires on wednesday now ive heard u guys say good things and i heard bad things to. and i was also told that i dont have to change my stock plugs right now cause they are pretty good. whats your opinion on that and if i do what plugs should i go with.

 

rumor mill has it that the msd isnt much better than stock, but i never heard FACT one way or the other. plugs & wires, however, you could always upgrade to some better ones.

 

Plugs are cheap enough, you might as well replace them while you are changing coil pack and wires. I have heard good things about NGK plugs.

msd pack is a good replacement to the stocker, but it's not really an upgrade. They both put out the same power. msd coil/plug wears is a nice setup coupled to some ngk's. Save yourself from buying more coils down the road too with a heatshield

 

get a heat shield, but stick with the stock coil pack. the aftermarket ones aren't any better and are prone to failing. if you do get themsd keep your stock coil in your trunk, you'll need it.

upgrade your plugs and wires asap, the stockers are horrible imo.
