Okay guys... info and advice...

shift lights... I want to get one, similar to Autometer style (so I can add the totally sweet blue lense cover to match my car... yes, I am that ****! haha... anyway... I looking for ideas on where to mount one and such... any advice? info? I don't need a monster 15" tach mounted on my dash, I just want a shift light... bouncing off the rev limiter isn't cool... and I am looking for a spot to mount it that is a little more inconspicuous (sp).

How about right under the dash hood over the factory gauges between the speedo and the tach. Or perhaps just to the left of the boost gauge.

okay, so I found the light I am all "geeked" about... but... if I just add the light (no extra tach) I am going to need the RPM activated Module correct?? the shift light I am considering is the ATM-5331 (the small silver one)...

I have put tach's in before.... but not just a loner shift light... as I understand it, I need the light, and the module... now... where to mount it...

 

Here's the one I love. Not my car, but the needs of the family outwiegh the needs of the car (now estimated at 4-5K and growimg every day).

I just noticed the RS module. Hmmm, says I, small thin strip of slightly smoked plexi set into the leding egde of the upper dash panel, with that RS helmet module behind. How smooth would that be? You could probably use the LED window from a junk remote
control, maybe drememled thinner?
