Don't do it! Especially after all the time you have put into your ride! Is it possible to get some suction cups and put the plate up in the windsheild/dash?

Not sure if Washington requires a front plate, but there was one on when I got my car. Stupid dealership actually drilled into the crossmember thingie! Took the plate off and sanded/repainted the crosshair (what the hell do you call that piece of the fascia?). No front plate and haven't gotten a ticket yet!

 

Thats what I do, it's ok as long as its a litte visible, even though they can't read the numbers *knock on wood*

 

I moved it because it kinda kills the airflow to the intercooler.

Yes I'm moving it higher, in a matter of hours I'll be re-bending the bracket.

I have NO choice but to have a front plate on the car, I've been stopped twice for it and luckily I only got a 5 day tag. I refuse to put it back where it belongs because all it does is scratch the bumper. When Im at shows I remove the front plate, so having a huge scratch there looks like total ***. Hence the relocating.

Yes the car will be lowered next week w/the Eibach pro-kit.

you know what would be nasty but kinda cool; putting the plate on ur lip in front....more airflow to IC lol.

do what i do. dont put the plate on your front (it looks ugly as hell). put it in the glovebox and if a cop pulls you over and asks about the plate you pull it out of you glovebox and say "i just go the car a im waiting for the dealership to get the bracket." if you are going to put it on the front make it in the center. just my opinion. different strokes for different folks.

 

That excuse works well unless you have a regular schedule and drive the same route everyday.......cops do the same.....

I see the same cops daily. I stick out like a sore thumb, and they KNOW. I kinda like it there, Im gonna alter it a bit, but I like it.
