Glendale Dodge here in Cali said that you supposedly can't reflash a used Stage 1 Ecu... is this right?

 

I've heard of people doing it, doesn't really make sense why you couldn't......

Can’t do it period or they can't do it is the question you should ask them…From all of what I read you can do it. Ask another dealership and wait a little for some more replies.

 

He said something about the VIN already embedded in the ECU some **** like that. He was saying I have to buy a new one... I think he was just trying to hustle me.

 

Who did you talk to? Service Manager? Anyways you should smack him..... Unless he is right

 

Make some calls to other dealers.....he might not want to do it due to the smog police.....

I called another dealer in Valencia, they said they would do it for $100 but thats almost 2 hours from my pad. I keep hearing about some place called Flight Systems or services or some **** like that... anyone have any idea what that is?
