Default home made eyelids?

i was wondering has anyone ever tried to make their own eyelids? cuz im on this hunt to find the perfect material to use. i was thinking that i would just get clear vinyl from like joan fabrics and spray paint them whatever color i wanted. my cars orange but i want black lids. so plannin on spraying them black. then i would stick them to my lights with spray adhesive? ive got the lids cut out already and now all i have to do is find good paint and spray them. so if anyone has any suggestions plz feel free to ptich in

I got my black vinyl eyelids from ruthless graphics for about 20.00. Perfect cut and everything. I cant imagine doing it myself for less, especially since my time = money. I dont know if orange is possible, but check them out.

Unless you've got experience with this type of stuff, I'd buy the commercial type.....the paints and adhesive would have to be weather/UV Ray/heat proof/resistant in order to stay on for any reasonable amount of time. Your headlights have a good chance of cracking in normal use anyway, no use in making it more expensive......

I have custom made eyelids. For the time and effort it takes, your better off spending the 20 bucks for pre-cut ones.
