the car dosent smoke when your getting on it, it smokes when the engine is comming back down from a high rpm. the motor only has 4000 miles on it b/c first turbo took out the original motor. the cat went bad when i was like 300 miles away and i decided to drive it home b/c it still ran do you think i could have burned up valve seals?? if so how hard are they to change?? thanks for the info

 

what color is the smoke

 

see it changes sometimes its white and other times its got the blue tint to it. i have had to add oil so i know its buning oil. where its comming from has got me way confused.

This is gonna sound stupid but smell ur exhaust. See if it has a sweet smell.

 

no its not antifreeze it dosent have that scent. i have been buning oil though

 

If you blew a head gasket you would know.

The most common area for these cars would be if you are looking at the back right of the engine behind the head, you'd see a mixture of oil/coolant.

It sounds like what mine was doing when the turbo crapped out on me, but it wasn't burning oil like that.

 

If you actually drove the NEW engine over 300mi. w/ a plugged converter, i'd be really surprised if you DIDNT do any damage to it., sounds like you cooked the valve guides or seals.________5TOEZ_________
