the car dosent smoke when your getting on it, it smokes when the engine is comming back down from a high rpm. the motor only has 4000 miles on it b/c first turbo took out the original motor. the cat went bad when i was like 300 miles away and i decided to drive it home b/c it still ran do you think i could have burned up valve seals?? if so how hard are they to change?? thanks for the info

If you blew a head gasket you would know.
The most common area for these cars would be if you are looking at the back right of the engine behind the head, you'd see a mixture of oil/coolant.
It sounds like what mine was doing when the turbo crapped out on me, but it wasn't burning oil like that.

If you actually drove the NEW engine over 300mi. w/ a plugged converter, i'd be really surprised if you DIDNT do any damage to it., sounds like you cooked the valve guides or seals.________5TOEZ_________
