How much do you think I should pay for a stock 2005 Red Dodge SRT-4 with 8,000 miles on it? It is located at a Dodge dealer and they are asking $19,995. Thank you very much.

 

Edmunds.com states 17k - 18k given it is in 'clean' condition. But this was also in the Seattle area.....

20k for a car that's 25k brand new is just too much. Between having 8k on it....and the fact that 2007 models are going to start hitting floors in about 2 months....that's just too much money for it....

I'd pay 17,500-18k.....tops...and I'd try and talk them down even on that...

 

they are making a new srt-4? i never herd this cool

 

They are making them from the Caliber body style instead of the neon. They will have 300 hp and 260 ft/lbs. The neon srt-4 is faster 0-60, but the caliber srt-4 has the neon in the 1/4 mile.

 

.... and to add, the neon smokes the caliber in looks! IMO of course.....

 

ditto...altho...the SRT-4 Caliber definitely looks better then the base model..

 

I've only seen one pic of the SRT model that really caught my eye. I think it was the unveiling at the Autoshow a year or two ago. It was black & red. Looking at that one I would definately have to agree with you. It looked mean and all, but I still like the neon version better. The Caliber looks like the abandoned son of a Cherokee & a GTI....Or like that new Mazda CX-7, or at least what I've seen of it. I dunno, if I wanted something like that (cargo space, etc), I'd get that SRT8 jeep. Now that thing is bad ***!
