Default Stage 1 Came In Today

About 5 minutes after I got home from work today, the doorbell rang and the Delivery Man handed me a package from Modern Performance....Stage 1 had arrived!!!!!!

Looking at the paperwork, I noticed a couple of interesting things....the install instructions note that the functionality and the audible performance of the integrated recirculation valve with the BOV conversion kit will be improved (hear that, RR?!?!?)[sm=smiley36.gif][sm=smiley20.gif]

It also says that it is nomal for the Stage 1 to set the P0633 fault code, but the code will not activate the Malfunction Indicator Light.

They list a toll-free technical assistance # for the Stage 1......1-800-866-6727.

They include a "Stage 1" chrome and black namplate to put on your SRT-4.

They state "Mopar Performance parts are sold "as is," without any warranty whatsoever."

They also state "Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicle and parts warranties are voided if the vehicle or parts are used for competition or if they fail as a result of modification."

Total time from ordering to delivery: 19 days.

Watch out ricers, here I come....[sm=smiley15.gif]

good for you. i hope you are going to install it your self because it's not hard at all. you can really feel a difference, not a real dramatic change but you will notice it though.

BTW, there is a sheet attached to the install instructions saying "core return is required" however, there is ALSO a stamp that says "no core return"...I'm assuming the stamp was put on after the "core return is required" was printed.....I hope.....

WTH....[sm=smiley15.gif]

Damn you are lucky dusty! Congrats. I am in the middle of a move and have been dormant the last week. My cars are coming from california to D.C. and hopefully will be here in the next few days. I am probably going to get stage 2 instead of 1 and that will be the end of my power upgrades. Next will be motor mounts and susp. stuff. Good luck with the install and keep us posted.

Thanks, dude. I've made a few moves in my life as well after 21 years in the wild blue yonder....thinking about another one to Great Falls, Montana in a few more years if I can sell my condo for at least $100,000...Are you getting extra pay for living in the D.C. area???

The install directions are pretty complete, plus I have an issue of "Sport Compact" that has an article which details the install with pictures and comments. If I run into trouble, I'll be on the horn to the toll-free number.

Yeah, I figure with the Mopar/Borla Exhaust, the K&N CAI, and the MSD Plug Wires in addition to the Stage 1, I should be in excess of 250HP for this '04 model.......in REAL WORLD numbers anyway, not DCX's under rated BS.....

Later....[sm=smiley20.gif]
