Stage 1 Came In Today
Hell yeah!!!![sm=smiley4.gif][sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley32.gif] I knew about the BOV getting better sounding, I've read probably everything ever written on or about the SRT-4's, including all the upgrade installs and comments. They say that the Stage 2 is supose to do that with the BOV even more as well as the Mopar Borla exhaust too. I was shocked to see that they put the PCM right next to the radiator, no wonder the other side is a big heat sink.[sm=smiley5.gif] Can't wait to hear about it after you get it on.[sm=smiley20.gif]
if you are worried about heat getting to the curcuit board from running the extra power and octane...try this. Get yourself some "dynamat" engine compartment heat reducing layering. That way, you can shroud your inportant materials with this stuff and not worry about the aluminum computer boxes gathering tooo much heat on your way up to 250 horses.

71RR - Have you read some of the posts on other boards regarding dyno's that were run on Stage 2 SRT-4's? Some have claimed to have actually lost, or had minimal WHP gains after install. I don't see how this could be true, but it is something that has me concerned. I had planned on Stage 2 with toys, but I'm waiting until I can get more info from some people that have it.

My days off are tomorrow and Tuesday....Got my tools out in the garage, a stocked ice chest and my boom box loaded with my favorite tunes.....gonna get up early so I can get it done before the heat/humidity becomes a issue....
it shoudl only take you about 30 minutes or so...just make sure that you get all the o-ring out before you throw the new injectors in it...and also...when you try to re-fire it, prime it a few times by going from off to "on" in the ignition about 3 times to get everything preasurized...then crank it and it should fire right up.
That only applies for the '03 SRT-4's. The '04 SRT-4's already have the larger Stage 1 injectors in them from the factory, so all he has is the PCM.
I haven't heard of any power losses from Stage 2 yet. It sounds to me like they either did it incorrectly or received PCM's that were never flashed with the Stage 2 programming.

RR, check out the thread "new to the SRT4 street scene" and the postings by PSI Chick...she confirmed what I read on another forum about leaks with the Stage 2 and making a leak detector.....[sm=smiley5.gif]
