hi Dragon..you will get 20 different answers for oil weight........personally im going with what the manual tells me to put...5w30 mobil 1......22 dollars for a5 quart jug at wal mart

The factory recommended 5-30 should do well in most cases, unless you live in a very hot or very cold area. In those areas I'd either go one weight higher or lower.......

I like Mobil 1 0w/5w-40, every 3000 miles.

I personally make a blend of sythetics. I have an 01 Chevy S10 2.2L 4 banger. And a 79 383 C.I.D. motor. I use at least 1 quart of the lucas synthetic oil stabilizer. And then as for oil, I use 0w-20 Mobil 1 for the S10 and then Royal Purple 10W-30 for the Camaro. Sometime's I'll mix them even more and use a quart of each and a little bit of Amsoil. I get the amsoil free from work.
