what kind of oil should i use on my srt4 at the time i am using full synthetic and i was told that the turbo burns that out and its not good for it

 

LOL Who the hell told you that ?You are suppose to use full synthetic.It says right in the owner manuel to use 5-W30 fully syn oil.They even say to use moble 1.But i done know alot about what is good oli brands and what not.I have always used mobl-1 and it seems to be fine in my car.The car is going to burn any kind of oil fast just like it does to gas LOL.Its a turbo car every thing goes fast in are cars.You need syn oil because your car is turbo.They need that type of oil.So dont worry about who ever told you that .

 

I use mobil 1 10w30 full synthetic. No problems here.

 

i don't have an SRT4 but I know that mobil 1 oil is one of the best oils you can run in the car.

Anyone who tells you a fully synthetic is bad for your car is not correct. Yes sometimes running fully sythetic oil does burn a bit more than regular, but that is because it is such a good lubricant and sometimes slips into places the regular stuff cannot

my uncle has a PT cruiser with the turbo.. I have been told it uses the similar engine to the SRT4

WHAT ABOUT ROYAL PURPLE OIL IT HAS BEEN DYNO PROVED TO GAIN 5-10HP FROM JUST THE OIL CHANGE. HAVE YOU LOOKED INTO THIS TYPE OF OIL BECAUSE I WAS THINING OF USEING THIS OIL IN MY SRT.

 

no man but my best friend use it all the time and he likes it.But he has never said anything about hp with it.I know they say you can get hp with some oils,but i dont belive that.i say use what ever you want .Just make sure its syn. And if it does do something with hp,you might not tell cause its such a small amount. ERIC
