how fast were you going... i have the type rs and unless you have an odd mount on your cold side pipe i dont even see how thats possible...

is your "rigged" vac set up sealed? your bov works off the vac so if its not "rigged" up well then it wont work well giving it a faint quiet sound.

He has it installed on the hot side. Called me up after it happened... Travis did you try re-tuning it like I told you?

oh so he does have it on that side? Why did he do that? Did he go with a hard pipe set or what? That makes sense why it broke then.I never knew you could install it on the hot side! Every hard pipe set ive seen has the mount for it on the coldside pipe. Damn you learn somthing every day.

I have the Type-S bov as well and to be honest, I love it to death, I can't imagine having any other bov on my car. It sounds the same on either side. I'll take some vids of mine, for some reason mine is really loud, way louder than the HKS.

yeah its on the hot side with an agp boost tube

alright i got it fixed..

i guess when it hit the ground it hit so hard the hose clamp snapped and the ic pipe was just barely on there. so i took off the bov opened it up and also saw the diaphram was flipped up somehow. anyway i fixed that strapped it back on and got some high temp tape and sealed the sh*t out of it !!!1 sounds awesome..
