Default Mopar CAT Delete ?

What do you do about the O2 sensor (codes) when you remove the cat? On my '02 Mustang GT when I added the "Off Road" pipe, I had to plug O2 simulators into the sensor harnesses to trick the computer. Thanks.

Also, when you add cat-back and turbo-back exhaust on the SRT-4 do you get lots of buzzes, rattles and squeaks inside the car? With the O/R pipe and quietest Borla cat-back on my Mustang it still had lots of plastic buzzing and rattles...but having 500 HP at the flywheel could have had something to do with it. The only way to get rid of it is to buy stg1.Or you will always have a engine light on. and i never got any rattles or anything like that with my turboback. But i do now because i have a open down pipe. Its loud as hell now. There is a turboback system for are car from a brand called thremal.I have herd its really not that loud, thats what im going to be geting very soon.

I guess a Stage 2 would work instead of the Stage 1?

And I'm not too worried about loudness, I ran an Off Road X-Pipe with Dynomax Race mufflers on my Mustang for over a year before I switched to a tamer Borla cat-back system.

It depends on what exhaust you get. Some you get is going to rattle **** in the car and some are not.Mine is really bad because im just running a open down pipe! One of my good friends has mopar and it doesnt do anything like that. But even when i had full exhaust it made **** rattle in the car.I cant wait to i get a new turboback system. oh and just so you know one of my friends also tried to trick the ecu but it didnt work. But good luck to ya with what ever you go with.

Stage 1 and 2 ignore the downstream O2 sensor codes.

I have had my SRT with the Mopar cat delete next to other SRT's with hogged out cats and downpipes. While my exhaust is louder than stock it is also mellower than just the straight pipe or hogged out cats. The extra silencer they put in place of the cat does its job. You can still make it sound really badass when you start blipping the throttle and letting it back off. It is just easier to tone it down when the black and white is on your *** and looking for a excuse.

Thanks for the info, for now I'll probably keep the stock intake and exhaust but if/when I do change...I'll go with the Mopar cat delete and cat-back.
