I was told at work by a coworker that the srt-4's have a recall on there brakes because they fail after "a lot" of miles. i dont know if the guy was just jelous but if any of u have heard anything id like to know.

NO, it's not true. My stock pads are getting ready for replacement, at 35K, but then again, with the braking I do, I'm happy they lasted this long. Ask him to prove it or STFU Sounds like sour grapes to me alldata.com is a great resouce for such items.

 

I called my dealer and the service manager said he'd not heard or seen anything on a recall for SRT-4s....obviously, the guy is feeding you a line......[:'(]

 

Jealousy, I've not heard of any SRT-4 recalls as of yet.

 

...neither have I...I have been keeping my eyes peeled on dealerconnect for any new TSB's or recalls on the srt...and since its free for me (dealership), I am on it just about everyday for these sorts of things...

 

Good, keep on keeping your eye on it. We have a few Dodge mechanics on here that also list recalls and TSB's, but we can never have too many.
