Have the S1 springs and LOVE THEM!!! Also have the Mopar rear tension struts and those kickass as well. Reduced bump steer and no more rear wheel hop under heavy braking, plus better cornering.

Upgrade all your bushings, guaranteed the swaybar ones are crap, as are the LCA bushings. It can't hurt, it will only help. Add a Front STB too, even if its just the MPx one (which allows better air flow from the hood to the turbo because of its decreased size compared to other models on the market), to stiffen that up as well.

Looks like a good list to me... I have one other suggestion... Tires!

You'll have a lot of fun with what you listed on the stock tires, we have the same setup except I have the PT/ACR sways w/prothane endlinks and bushings, and hell I ran a road course on the stock tires it was fun as hell. Switching from the stock tires to these 225/40/18 Goodyear Eagle F1s though, the difference is amazing! Grip is dramatically increased which works with the other upgrades to almost be scary at first because you can turn at such a higher speed than with the stockers you have to condition yourself to know you're going to stick and not understeer like with the stockers.

I know it's not on your list, and it might not be in the budget... I have the S3 coilovers... and I love them! Just have them dropped a little low in the rear so there is some rub when I throw it through corners...

I would recommend a sway bar upgrade though. I went with the "budget" sways... (much like Andy mentioned above)

He is getting swaybars. The Hotchkis.

Trust me, get under that car with a flashlight...and you'll see nice rotted out bushings the same as I did. They make an ENORMOUS difference, and for an extra hundred bucks or so, its well worth it.

See how sexy this is? And the LCA ones are WORSE

ahh a women after my own heart. you all forgot traction bars improve front end turn in tremendously not to mention near zero wheel hop.

Black4,

I thought traction bars were still a little sketchy on these cars (meaning no one made a good set yet and people have had trouble with them)... mybe I read that wrong, it's been a while since I've looked up a set of them...

traction bars are worthless, at least the ones out so far are. don't waste your money on them. wait until a good and proven set are on the market before spending the cash.....
