Default Side Exit Exhaust

So I'm pretty stoked on MaxxFab's side exit exhaust, but before I drop some cash for it I was wondering if anyone would like to supply some input on the following items:

1.) Anyone have it? Pros/Cons

2.) What to do with the bumper.... I don't really want to roll the middle up, what are my other options?

Thanks in advance!
B

i don't have it but i know a few people that do. none have had a problem with it that i'm aware of. there was a BIG issue with the CTI one however....

other than rolling the bumber the only other option is to get those cover insert things for the holes. they don't look all that great though imo, or at least i've never seen ones that do. you can always go to a body shop and have them molded in, not sure what that would run you though.

Its probably at LEAST $200 to paint the bumper, my body shop used to charge $250 with no bodywork, $350 with minimal bodywork, custom work was extra.

They ARE illegal in many states, IMO they sound kinda funny, on top of looking funny.

PSIChick is right, theres been problems with ALL CTI exhausts, for whatever reason, many of them just rot and fall apart. Well the first generation ones did, not too sure how the new ones are.

Well, thanks for the replies girls! I was pretty much thinking the same things (aside from the exhaust looking/sounding funny).

These inserts you speak of... I've seen them, just not for sale. Know anywhere that carries them?

Kustomatix out of Maine makes them, I have a prototype sitting here I have to paint, and to be honest, the way in which it is attached to the bumper, and the overall piece itself, I can't see it looking good. I can't post pictures though because they aren't officially for sale yet
