One more question
i was thinking of getting a boost controller, and turning the boost down to the lowest it can be turned down on a stock srt4, so that when im driving to work i can save gas, then if a punk needs to be put into place i can turn the boost back up to stock and burn. my logic is that by doing that it will help the gas mileage..but it may not work like that..anyone ever try it on a stock SRT-4?
The only thing that will save any gas is the Stage 2 with toys. It allows you to turn down the boost plus the PCM also readjusts the amount of fuel you are using. I can still get over 29mpg in the '0' position. Every click up to '3' makes the gas go bye bye faster!
If you really dont feel like running boost to save gas, the cheapest way is to remove the tip sensor's vac lines. You'll get 4-5lbs of boost, which is the spring in the stock WGA.
But you wont save gas....at all.

how are you screwed?
can you install s2 yourself? if so you can remove s2 yourself if you need to take it in. and depending on where you are you could have a fellow srt owner help you. the ones in my area are all pretty good with the few douches but thats normal with all makes.

S2 does not void your warranty.
But if a repair is neccessary and the failure is caused by an S2 part or component, the repair is NOT covered. But if something so stupid as a spark plug blows through the head....its covered.
