Was out at Denwoody this past weekend and had a couple runs in my 05 Acr with Mopar Sts, Cat Back Exhaust, CAI as being my only time subtracting mods, my buddy went with in his 2004 non acr with the same mods. I couldn't believe the difference between the cars.... I ran 13.7 , 13.6, and a 13.4 as being my best time..... with my buddy running 13'9's as his best..... driving his car my best time was a 13.9 as well ... that's a half second difference between the 205's on the stock and the 225's on the acr...what a difference tires make = ) ... just a little info to those who don't know what to mod first

 

damn you ran a 13.4 thats cool man.Good job! I got a 05 not a acr.And i my best time with street tires was 13.2 with wga,intake,turboback,mm and fmic.With slicks i should be high 12s i hope.But anyways thats really good driving with those mods.

 

Thanks bro, I have stage 2 on order... hoping that will put me into the 12's , it's crazy how much harder it is to control wheel hop with 205's... the difference is really night and day. I wonder what the difference between my 225's and slicks tho ...

you know it was a drivers run.. the acr doesnt have much different than the regular srt other than ugly wheels

 

Ha, they're not ugly but I am lookin into getting mine painted black to see what that'll look like.

My best run trapped at 106 and some change, my buddy has the time sheets i'll try to snag them from him at work and post'em.

 

Moparman, the ACR has an entirely different suspension setup, 16x7 wheels with wider tires on them, etc etc....... its not just the wheels.

 

yeah i know bbs's are lighter and stiffer suspension... plus the seats can fit a 5 point. im just a hater lol !!!!1
