TPS question again
My TPS sensor is completely bad and my dealership has one on order. I had a post early that anoter dealership messed my tps wiring up. Well the people i'm dealing with now had to re-wire and replace my PCM. They said my tps is bad again thats why there ordering another. But right now and this is my main question my car is taking longer to start and my car is not boosting past 7 pounds. Can some one tell me if this can be caused by a bad TPS sensor? I want to know because the dealership needs to fix this problem because i didn't have it until they were messing with stuff. My boost holds but it just won't go past 7psi i don't understand. Pcm is brand new just got car back yesterday.
Are the tip sensor lines hooked up properly?
Do you have any leaks? Are any of the lines on the solenoid or those that go to the turbo loose or not properly connected?
The TPS repair is mainly because of a shorted wire, though occasionally the sensor is bad too. Part of the slow-to-start issue is due to the summer gas, these cars always tend to be slow to start in the summertime. Its just how they are.
Did they replace the PCM and when they did, are they sure it was programmed properly? At the very least they're helping you which is a start. Make sure they fixed the wiring as well as the sensor to be sure that everything is perfect.

Usually if you reset your pcm that code p123 goes away, but it stays on all the time. I know that sensor is bad. I don't have any leaks when i'm boosting. I don't think the gas is causing my car to hesitate like that it just start doing it. This whole situation is wiered i'm supposed to be getting the tps put on at the end of the week, so i'll see i guess. I'm telling them i don't want my car back to everything is perfect. Because it was fine when i brought it to them besides car reving. Basically your telling me TPS can't cause those problems thanks for info.
If they were digging around the front driver side messing with the TPS.....make sure ALL sensors are re connected properly....my Dealership forgot to re connet the air sensor from the hot side intercooler and the sensor was just hanging...MAJOR LEAK(I found a grommet and stuck and ziptied that BISICH back down....also, the air sensor going into SRI..zipties are your friend...)and they didnt tighten my intake hoses.....on the way home from dealer, not more than 7 PSI....after "ZIPTIE MONDAY" (as it is known to me know) full boost, and she pulls hard once again....
