okay so i got a intake.dp,exhaust,wastegate and bc... i wanna raise the boost a lil but more but dont know till how much... what do u guies think.. and how much cud i raise the boost without messin with the a/f ratio

 

without a different ecu i wouldnt boost more than 16

 

if you not on stage1, u'll most likily throw an overboost code, but wait until you get a wideband to raise boost, u don't want to run lean

 

18-19 spike with stage 1 will not give you any overboost codes....stage 0 pcm will start to bitch after 16...stage 1 is worth the money and makes the car feel totally different.

mapclamp is your other option.

 

Mapclamp pulls fuel to lean out a car, and needs to be tuned on a dyno or with a wideband and a voltmeter. It doesn't add boost. Though it is useful when adding boost to a car without having the expense of an AF controller.

Buy Stage 1, used or new, and you won't regret it. Its a great platform to build off of.

 

Map Clamps are a poor mans mod. Stay away from them and decent products. Stage 1 is worth it. Should be a first mod for everyone!
