Buddy from a dealership was on the 2005 dealer lister, and said for 2005, the color Electric Blue will be cancelled on the SRT-4... however a new color called "Orange Blast" will replace it... seems Flame Red, Bright Silver, and Black stay! No pictures of the color have been released yet!

Yeah, heard about the rumor of the Orange SRT-4.....sorry to see the blue go though....

 

DAMN, I THINK THE BLUE IS A COOL COLOR. EVEN THOUGH I HAVE RED AND I DIDNT HAVE A CHOICE OF COLOR ANY WAYS BECAUSE THE RED WAS THE ONLY ONE THERE AND I WANTED MY SRT-4 NOT SAYING I DONT LIKE THE RED. YOU KNOW WOULD BE A BETTER COLOR, MY OWN OPINION, WHITE. THAT WOULD BE SWEET. SO SORRY FOR THE BLUE IF ITS TRUE.

 

I have read the same thing on different web sites. That will be the only change for 2005.
I also read that 2005 will be the last year for the SRT-4 with either an all new version, or a SRT-6/SRT-8 coming out in 2007.

 

The SRT-4 will be history after the '05 model run. The 06 Neon will be built on the Mitsu Lancer platform with a Hyundai engine...[:'(]

 

Guess I'll ahve to buy the 300C SRT version their supposedly coming out with. I guess its a 6.1L Hemi with 425 horse.

There is a Crossfire SRT-6 coming out as well as a Magnum SRT-8. The SRT-4 will indeed be done after this year, unless they decide to make a turbo Hyundai for the next gen Neon.[:'(]
