I posted about stage 1 install the other day and was told that i needed to have my vin flashed into computer. When ordering the stage 1 today i was asked for my vin number. Does that mean that my stage 1 will come pre flashed and ready to install or do i still need to take it to dealer??

 

Where did you order it from?If it was from a dealer or vendor of this site chances are it will be flashed before you receive it.

yeah if they asked you for your vin then you will be good to go, chances are when they get it from mopar they will let them know your vin and it should be programed already to the pcm.

 

If you put it in and it DOESN'T start, you'll know they didn't flash it.........

Ouch! What's up with the $100 price hike. I was going to get the Stage 3R add on kit for stage 2, did they hike the price on that one too? Is this a dealer thing or a modern performance thing?

 

Stage 1 from Modern is now $424.99 + $10 shipping, ouch. Thankfully I already got mine a year ago.

It will be ready to install when you get it, it will already be flashed for your car. If it doesn't run when you install it, you probably did something wrong or forgot something.
