Default Gotta' love Fedex!

When I didn't receive my boxes of goodies from Modern Performance on Friday, I figured I was SOL because UPS Saturday deliveries cost extra.
I had a surprise visit from Fedex today which means I have all day tomorrow to install MP/Borla cat-back, MP STS, DC Sports front and rear strut bars, and some other minor stuff.

Yep...I'm psyched!

Well, I would think so.[sm=smiley36.gif] I hope nobody that buys those DC front STB's have an problems from them blocking all the colder outside air from the hood scoop not getting to the turbo anymore. They have holes on both sides, but not right where it needs it over the turbo. I also hope that you have the MSD wires, because that STB will definately cause the fried wire problem since it not only blocks the scoop air from getting to the turbo, but also holds the turbo heat right on the wires. If it weren't for the plate on the DC STB blocking and covering this very important area, I might have spent the extra $$$ on getting it. Good luck with your day of installs, we'll be waiting to hear from you on it.[sm=smiley2.gif]

RR - I saw the same thing regarding front STB/airflow to the turbo as soon as I put it on. I agree there could have been a better design as opposed to the holes, but as far as "blocking all the colder outside air" , I don't think it will be that severe. That air should be forced back there. Time will tell.
I did get the MSD wires so I should be ok there...thanks for the heads up.

So far, both STB's and my 3rd brake rice light are in. I just came in to do a search on recommended spark plugs for a stock '04.

unless you are using a high output coil pack and ignition timer...you DO NOT NEED new plugs...the stock plugs are double platinum as they are, so they will be super durable all the way through at least 65-75k miles!

Cool, glad to hear that you already have the good wires. I will be getting the DC rear STB though.

That would be sad to think that they just throw them in without gap checking them.[sm=smiley5.gif]
