$20 dollar cc help
The "$20 OCC" was a result of people refusing to pay $80 or more for what was basically an empty can. The "$20 OCC" also offers more fitting options than the larger and more expensive commercial models. You basically take an air filter that normally would be on an air compressor, remove the white element from the inside, add some fuel/emission tubing, fittings and hose clamps and "viola", you have your OCC. All the parts can be had at automotive parts stores and places like Home Depot/Lowe's (for the air filter part). You only need one (between the PCV valve and the throttle body) unless you have a CAI. They are easy to attach and require no maintenance other than emptying when they get full......no moving parts to worry about, no electrical connections. Just bolt on and go. Check the "sticky" at the top of this section for helpful links........

Best $20 I have EVER spent on a car. A MUST HAVE. I have to empty my PCV side cc about once every 2 weeks. My CAI side has some oil in it, but I've yet to have to empty it. Imagine pouring a quart of oil into your intercooler.....................not a pretty picture.
wow thanks guys who would of known i can get an occ at home depot i should have known i even work at home depot not even that i work in the hardware department and look at thoes filters every day. but anywYS one more question wherer does it go on the cai side thanks for the help
You can get the Campbell Hausfeld MP5138 at Auto Zone for around $12 and the fittings for another couple dollars as well as the hose and thread tape. There is a section above here in the SRT-4 section with everything you need to know about the $20 OCC.
