Honestly....I really don't care. He isnt even responding to any of my phone calls. I'm willing to go with a reman and not have my car for a few days, which is a little over 100 dollars cheaper than an axle (which retails at $300 for the passenger side), and has a lifetime warranty. But who knows....honestly would YOU want his help putting it in the car?

 

well if hes all you got and need some help.......i would just watch him more carefull.... otherwise i personally would do it myself or find someone else to help..
or trade it in for a white one....i hear they have titanium axles[:-] and some type of nasa approved boot cover

 

My lawyer is calling him tomorrow, he refuses to pay. He says he was helping me.

So I said...

"Say I was helping you install something on your truck, and for example I cracked your headlight....I would buy you a new one, because I broke it while helping you, thus helping you out again"

"Dont have any money"

"You own a bricklaying company, you work everyday, everytime I talk to you you're at work"

"Sorry can't help you"

Some friend he is to begin with. At least the kid that hit the pothole at warp speeds in my car bought the parts to fix it you know? He was helping me by driving me back from a 24hour fasting blood test, got turbo happy, busted the ball joint and fender, and got me new ones, helping me repair what he broke.

Im installing it myself, I want nothing to do with him...though my lawyer will call and scare the **** out of him, and some people are going down there for a visit.

 

yea if i was the one helping you and ripped your boot............i would offer to pay for it.......but thats just how i am.........it would suck though lol............everyones different

The total was $143, the Axle was $113 and a few extra bucks to overnight it

 

alright.and you got enough left over to buy us a pizza

 

Axle is in, two of the spider joints were FUBAR'D. In the process Joe and I popped the ball joint boot....

and omg....

he paid for it.....holy **** man, that is a true friend World of difference from a messed up axle to a new one. Put the ball joint boot in yesterday and all is well in my chassis at this time
