1. 12k is usually what i go by. dodge says 18 i think but i think it's too long. after 10k i start to feel the tranny getting sluggish. 3 quarts atf+4 plus friction modifier.

2. gas filter doesn't really need to be changed, but if you feel you must just get a stock replacement. i like the denso's with the high temp wires, but the ngk's and msd combo is a nice set up as well.

3. can't help you there.

4. i know the feeling.

Didn't Dodge come out with a service advisory/bulletin about a year ago advising SRT-4 owners to change their tranny fluid at 12K or so? Seems like someone posted that info in here............

they reduced it from 36k to 18k if i remember correctly. i still think 18k is too long. i'm at 28k and have changed my tranny fluid 4 times since swaping tranny's at 14k!

That might be what it was. I probably made a mental note to do it at 12K to be on the safe side........

Hey PSI, if you don't mind me asking, why did you have to swap out your tranny?

well a couple of reasons really. i had tranny problems from the start with this car, and no dealership would help me out and fix it. so it progressively got worse and worse, to the point that i could barely get it into gear. a local shop "sponsored" me and got me a new tranny from a 04 and we threw it in. it had the lsd which was an upgrade (i have an 03), and it didn't have the issues that my original one did. when we dropped the tranny and opened it up it was a disaster inside. the synchros were shifted and almost stripped, and the forks were chipped and out of line. i'm surprised that the tranny lasted as long as it did considering how it looked.

I have the manual addendum in my car that says 12-15k on it, Dusty thats probably where you got it from.

No need to change the fuel filter.

Spark Plugs/Wires: MSD/Moros/NGK 4306

4: ....why? Dare I ask LOL

For the past couple weeks my car has been squeeking like crazy, it used to squeek on only the front right side, now its both the left and right side, its just a continous demonic straight out of hell squeek. It doesn't squeek all the time, but when it does, I just feel like kicking the **** out of my car. I took it to my dealer and they took a look at it, the ****s even took it for a ride and I could hear the **** squeeking right in my ear, it sounds like my car laughing at me in the most demonic of ways, and the service guy said, I don't hear anything..... Ok, must be deaf, had some other guy drive it and said he didn't hear anything when the squeek was as loud as s ****ing bat out of hell. I have no idea what it is, I thought it was my brakes, but its not my brakes, its only when my car starts rolling that it squeeks. It keeps getting louder and louder, I already called our local priest, the excorcism is tomorrow, I will keep you guys updated.
