Hey there all, I have somewhat of a survey for all, what would you guys say if i wanted to organize and plan a semi-cross country subaru/srt4 race? It would be held in June of '07 and would consist of 25 subarus and 25 srt 4's. Now my main question is how many would be interested in racing? the entry fee would $2,500 and the 1st place winner would take home $25,000. It would be a 4 day event spanning 6 states starting in L.A. and ending in L.A.

Too far for me, and the price is way too high. I'd rather participate in the Hot Rod Power Tour personally.

 

The fee is alittle on the high side for me[:@]. This is in my back yard, but I'm with LSP on this, I'd rather do the Hot Rod Power Tour thing.

 

Been on the 03, 04 & of HRPT and had a blast. it was no race though, unless you pull along side of someone wanting to play, 3000-3500 cars thats a rairity....lol. fixing the classic with a new mill & aod for this years run from Cleveland to Little Rock. Let me know if you are considering, I can give you the low down.

 

you guys are right it is a little hefty but common for a chance at 25k and your odds with 50 cars isnt bad...but also for the price you get rooms to stay in at each checkpoint a track day at the utah salt flats and then a finish line party in L.A.

i think its to much of a risk of having something terribly go wrong with ur car. would be fun to watch tho.
