Duh! I just read the RACE thread. Thanks!!!! I'm there for sure. Anyone else that's planning to go should let me know by next year. Of course that's PLENTY of time, but I'm excited already.

 

Hey I live near Kalamazoo. Woooooohoooooooo! Good chance I'll be doing some of it. Coolness!

 

I live nowhere near there, but I really want to do this after reading up in back issues of Hot Rod it seems wicked fricken cool!!!!

 

I did the complete "long haul" 03, 04 & 05 it was great. met some cool people and waited in some long lines. broke along the way, fixed it, and also helped some others out that were in a pickle, after all what comes around goes around. In 03 Dodge was the mark and got to lead the line of cars. GM sponsor and alot of the "mfg" plates along for the ride. The SRT will be in the garage that week though, I will be taking the classic, no a/c for me.

Yeah honestly, I would be hard pressed to decide what to drive if my ol d-100 was up an runnin by then. It may be............
