I dont know about you guys / gals but me...... I cant wait for this **beautiful** piece of automotive artwork.

http://www.seriouswheels.com/top-200...er-Concept.htm

Yes the new Dodge Challenger. I hope they keep it as close to the concept as possible. Some of yall may dissagree but that car is Awesome. I love it. If it stays that cool ill have to trade in 1 or both of my cars to have it. If i had my choice ide trade in the Vette so i could put that pice of art in the garage and drive IT on the Weekends

Buddy of mine here at work wants the New Camero ..... now im a Camero fan but.... damn just look at the Challenger; its Awesomeness brings a tear to my eye.

Yeah I went and saw it last weekend at the nats. It is way cool. My personal favorite car of all, is the 71 Challenger, so you now I'm on board with this one. The good thing is, I know they can build this car as it is not much of a stretch from what they already have. It should also look just like this. That is my problem with the actual Charger is that it looks very little like the show car that I saw doing the circuit at the Laughlin Nv. river run. (a big Harley thing) Man you want to talk beautiful. That car was it. It looked like a 69 Charger crossed with a Ferrari and/or a new Vette. The proportions were way different than what they actually came out with. The show car was low, wide and had the sexy coke bottle shape. The tires were huge. It had 4 doors, but you could not tell, the rear doors had hidden handles and the side glass was all blacked so you could not see a side pillar. The glass was also flush all the way back with no interruption. That car was SOOWWEEEET! The actual Charger was such a let down for me style wise. I glad they made one and I'm glad it has a Hemi, but other than that, it just doesn't look right to me. I hope they dont ruin the Challenger. I don't think they will.

I dont think it will do as well as they "hope" it will if they shred it up like they did the charger. If they keep it lookin much like the Concept i think it will do very well........... assumeing they keep the price reasonable allso (dodge does have a tendency to be alil too proud of their stuff).

I was pissed when the new Shi7stang came out... they were saying the new GT would be round 25k base and 18k for the V6 (not that ide buy that)........i checked the dealers when they hit the market......... they wanted 35k for the GT and 25k for the V6. WTF for a Shi7stang 35k....... they can keep it.

I did the same thing, looked at the $3500 markup and walked thinking there will be a million of these on the road in two years. a nice gt comes in at ~27 i thought. Wonder if the dealer markup was part of the reason the GTO sold less than 15,000 units each year. At least they let me drive one of those.

I'm going to do the same thing I did when I bought my SRT...Wait a year or two and then buy a display model for invoice. I eneded up purchasing a 04 in June of 05 for 18 bills with only 100 miles on it!

The first year dealers will mark up a car as much as the public allows. It's just the way things are. If Dodge Chargerizes it, I will be sad for all gear heads. The US needs another good pony war!!!

I have to Agree with that.
They allso need a good Price war. What happened to old fasioned price wars? Everyone conforms to the/a "standard" now a days it seems. Price wars are good. U wanna sell a product - make it more affordable than the other guys. In the long run you make more of a profit due to selling more and your product does more advertiseing for your buisness due to more of it is out there. And best of all....... Its good for the consumer.
