I too have the mopar bov and its great, fits rite on and will work for most applications and if he was goin to make his car to the point where the mopar bov wouldnt work well he wouldnt need to ask these questions so id go with it. its cheeper, fits with out buying other parts, sounds great, and doenst take to long to install....(come on byebye.... 8 HRs GD!!!!.) i installed the mopar bov in about 90 min using one 3" 10mm wrench that was fun.

I think I just found my next minor mod. I'll be ordering one from JLM Motorsports tomorrow.

Here it is plain and simple. The Mopar BOV is only $70 and is a straight bolt-on. With the exception of the Forge, all of the other BOV's are at least twice the price of the Mopar BOV not to mention that they require a new pressure pipe that is made to accept them, which is another $100+. And if all that wasn't bad enough you need to put a block off plate where the Mopar BOV goes when you use the others, and if you have to go through the trouble of installing a block off plate there you might as well save tons of money, time and aggravation by just getting the Mopar BOV.[sm=smiley2.gif]

YES 8hrs!!! I ripped the gasket, put it on took it off put it on took it off. I didn't do it methodically. I tried to take short cuts. That's why it took so long. I did it without help and with the wrong tools. It was my first mod. This is the first car that I have done my own work on. My car runs very strong and because I have only done basic bolt on bods I know that I won't be hurting my car more than helping it. I'm a newb to cars.

Same here, but they list times for someone with all the correct tools beside them and any and all lifts and equipment needed to get it done as fast as possible.

For sure. Looking back, my first efforts at mods were mostly dismal failures....trying to paint the car, doing a top end job on the engine, rebuilding the carb.....the fact that byebye got the part on and that it works correctly is all that matters.....[sm=smiley20.gif]
