Resell
Ok, so I am thinking about selling my SRT-4, but not set on it, and I'm not actually sure why, (baby is due in 13 days)
Are they easier to resell now that they don't make them anymore? Or is it just a normal depreciation?
Thanks guys (and gals
)

When I bought my '05 new for less than 19k, about 4 months ago, the local paper had a bone stock red '03 asking "$14,500" and it was only in the paper for about 3 days. Don't know what the actual selling price was though - most '03 and '04 SRT4's are listed in the paper for 13k to 14k, don't see too many used 05's yet.

Down here where I live, the Kelley Blue Book says about $16,700 for a 2005 SRT-4. You can click on the above link and get more specific info.......

My local Dodge Dealer actually sent me a post card asking me if they could buy my 04 for %80 of the MSRP... I was stunned! I've never heard of a dealership seeking anyone I know out for their ride. All that tells me is demand is there more than ever, so you shouldn't have a problem.... On the other hand, are you sure you want to sell it? Could that just be prego brain talking? lol . My boss is pregnant right now and everytime she f's up something she blames it on prego brain...
Well that's what I'm thinking, pregnant lady brain talking, I know, I already have his car seat in there, and it fits fine, uh I hate to say this . . . . . .my biggest issue I think is living in So Cal, even on a military base, I have SO many people roll up on me thinking all I am out to do is race. I just want to put a big sign on the back of mine that says "Pregnant lady, don't try to race"
I think I will hang on to it for a few more months for sure before I make up my decision, good to know that the demand is there though. .

the resale value on the srt is actually quite good, and not nearly as bad as people would think because it's a dodge. since produciton stopped the demand has risen, and as such the resale value has as well. many used 04's are going for as high as 17k, some as low as 13. depends on where in the country you are, miles on the car, modifications (and the value of them to the potential owner), etc.
I am actually selling my 05 SRT-4 that has less than 20K on it. I live in Arizona and I was going to go off Kelly Blue Book and was going to sell it for $17,900. I am selling it on auto trader so I decided to look up what prices others are selling their's for. The lowest I saw was $18,300 and the car had around 30K miles on it. I am selling mine for $19, 700 OBO because that was around the average amount that other people were selling for. I looked in the whole state of Arizona and there are only a few 05 's for sale.
