Default Intercooler questions.

I have been shopping for intercoolers on the web and found a couple that I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with.
The MPx one for $429 plus $15 s+h w/ t-bolt clamps incl. Can be seen at www. modernperformance.com . Then there is a kit that I saw on e-bay that has a pressure pipe and HKS BOV incl. for $409 plus $60 s+h.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-06...QQcmdZViewItem

I saw a GREDDY BOV type-S on e-bay for $16.
Listen i'm not cheap. I want my **** right. If I gotta spend the $190 for the GREDDY type-XS BOV from MP thats what i'll do so i'm not leaking boost.
Looking at the way that HKS BOV connects to the pressure pipe does not give me alot of confidence.

I already have Stage-2, MPx 3" exhaust no cat., CAI , and many other mods. This time around it's gonna be an intercooler,
AGP Billet WGA, BOV , and catch can. Any advice on what brands where to find the best deals and so on will be appreciated.
Thanks , Randy AKA LilBlueViper

Just a suggestion about ebay...if it looks too good to be true it probably is. The Greddy for 16 bucks is probably a piece of crap. A good BOV should 100-200 bucks and an intercooler should be 500-1000 depending on where you go. I am looking at the Hahn intercooler for 800 which can support 600 whp and I wont have to remove the crash bar.

First off all, VERY nice looking SRT. Love it

Secondly, stay the hell away from "ebay" brand products! Trust me on that one. We have one too many headaches come into the shop w/ them and 99.9% of the time end up chucking them for better brands. Greddy Type S bov's are no longer in production so be careful when purchasing one. Not many shop's still carry them.

It looks like the BOV connects to the pressure pipe with a gasket and jesus clip instead of being bolted on, and is the HKS ajustable? 23 psi what kind of WGA are you using? I would be happy to hold 20 psi solid.I have the mopar stage 2 WGA now and it won't hold at 19 drops off to like 16 or 17 psi. Where do I find this Hahn intercooler and why so much $?

05srt has a aftermarker turbo and I bet he has a AGP wastegate. I have the Stage 2 WGA and also hold around 19 psi that drops to 16. There are a lot of reliable places to look for aftermarket parts. Check out this post https://dodgeforum.com/m_420794/tm.htm, also check the old forum posts to see what people have said about different items.

Hahn is a company that has built some of the fastest street neons and srt4s. They have an 11 sec srt4 that runs on DRs with no weight reduction. If you want to know more they have a site www.hahnracecraft.com
