please list probs wit 05srt4
i have owned my car since febuary 06 it was the last one availible here... last month my car went into the shop for a new motor because the motor mount broke which inturn cracked the block... its still in the shop and i want to know of all things i should have them check out before it is completed... i saw back there was somthing about the tranny with i think it was 3rd gear and somthing with the fly wheel blots... anything else anyone can give me would be great ....
also anyone know of a good motor mount that will help with wheel hop but also be a little more flex than the stock ones so i dont have to go through this again.... i also am looking to see if i can find a 5 stage dual memory boost controller anyone know of one?
The only other mounts available are solid, which cause vibrations. You can get them from a variety of different vendors, it all depends on your decision of which to get.
Don't have them check for problems that aren't there. If they arise in the future, then have it checked out.
Common Problems:
- Flywheel bolts backing out
- 3rd gear (grinding on downshifts, not engaging into gear)
- 4th spark plug wire (plugs and wires in general need to be upgraded...the stock ones can't take the heat)

well im in pretty good with my dealership.... my motor shouldn't even be covered by warrenty but my mechanic got it covered for me... so i can have whatever checked out for nothing ... everything done they do i get done with out labor charge so i would rather get it checked just to make sure its all fine still.... i already have 18000 miles on it so yea....
kinda like the clutch is shot because of the cap in it shattered..... everyone should get that checked since our cars have dry clutches... the cap shatters easily... every srt around here has had to get a new clutch because of it.... my mechanic actualy got me the mopar performance clutch just so i wouldn't have to worry about it as much... and all im doing is paying cost on it

63 and change thousand miles on mine, and my clutch and transmission have been good to me so far.
I just don't see the point of fixing something that isn't broken. It isn't even like you're highly modified enough to worry about a voided warranty.

I've got just under 15,000kms(about 9,500 miles) on mine, and the only thing that's gone wrong was the steering column had to be replaced. All under waranty of course. I've had it for a little over a year and a half, so it's so-far-so-good for me.
