Default Ventshades

Anyone installed the in-channel ventshades for the windows? Reason I ask is becasue after installation it appears that when the window is rolled up it hits directly against the plastic (ventshade piece) and not the fuzzy-type rubber catch in the channel... Is this normal?

That is the way mine fit also. I don't see how it would fit any other way.

I don't see any other way either, I just thought it was weird that it was designed so the window comes in contact with the ventshade itself. I haven't put them on yet, will be installing them in about an hour or so... Have you had any problems with them?

I am returning the in-channel style in exchange for the outer-attaching type. Dodge (dealership) won't even carry the in-channel style because it disrupts the window/seal. They just didn't fit to my liking and didn't look like they would block much rain/ allow much airflow. So fyi, if you are looking into getting these, do not get the in-channel version....

I had the tape on style on my 2002 ACR and the tape was always coming loose and I was having to reglue them, they were junk. In the channel works so much better.

i have had the stick on type on the car for a while now. there was only one area that didnt want to stick which i used some extra adheasive and it worked out fine. the only thing i can reccomend is not to go cheap, get ones that will be form fitting with the curve of the vehicle.

The only reason I didn't like the in-channel style is that the visors themselves weren't very big and didn't clear the window by more than 1/8th inch or so. They just looked like they would dump water on me as well with the windows barely cracked. That is on top of the contact that the visors make with the window which I wasn't too fond of.... I guess I will just have to test it out and see.....

I have the Mopar 3M Adhered ones, and absolutely love em. Two years strong, and they don't like the B-pillars but thats about it. LOL
