Default 1/4 mile translation

I went to the track a couple of weeks ago and ran a best time of 10.95 in 1000 FT. on street tires. What does this roughly equate to in quarter mile times?

well it's hard to say exactly because anything can happen in those last 320 feet, but that should equate to roughly the 13.0 area.

I disagree psi, when i was lighly modded my 1/8s were 9.8ish and running low 14's so if hes a second slower at the 1/8 i doubt it would close to low 14.

An 1/8 mile is 660 feet, a 1/4 mile is 1,320 feet...

Since you are in a taller gear, it takes longer to reach the end of the 1/4 mile than 1000 ft. I am going to guess at high 13's - low 14's. Not bad at all!!!!!

My 1/8 time was 8.6

I have stg 2 and no traction!

I'm actually just starting to pull good when I cross the 1000 ft line

I looked at someones 1/4 time sheet with similiar mods when my best time was 11.29 and it was was in the 13.3-13.5 area. I would like to think that with DR's I could get a (very) high 12 sec 1/4 (if there was a 1/4 around....) That's not too far fetched is it?
