That's come good info guys!
Yet to see the track, only my g-tech which at this point may have been a waste since I can't find a road to use it on.

Yah, dude. Get your launches down and you'll be into the 13's without a problem. 2.5 and 2.4 is way too high a 60ft time for your car. I don't know what the SRT4 should do a 60ft in, but probably around 2.0 like someone else said. I'd just ask some of these SRT guys how they launch it. My launching techniques are of no good to you, since I don't have one.

Something is definately wrong here, I've watched '03 SRT-4's with only Stage 1 running 13.0-13.2 in the 1/4 mile. Stage 2 alone should be good for high 12's. Do you just have Stage 2 or Stage 2 with turbo toys? What other mods do you have as well? With Stage 2 and other mods you should be good for mid to high 12's. What were the weather conditions, they can make a very noticable difference as well? Your launch is definately part of the problem, but not the biggest part.

I suggest learning to modulate the clutch better. As one post said don't concentrate so hard on r/t for now as it's only important if your racing others. Right now, you're racing yourself. It usually will take quite a few launches to learn how to apply the power with this car if you're not used to it, so be patient. No one who hasn't been to the strip a lot does great at first. In a few launches you'll be down to 2.20 then you'll one time hit a magic 1.95 or 2.0 then it will be elusive for a little then you'll have it nailed - I'd say You'll be fine. If you're hitting mid to high 2's there is room for improvement.

Good luck!!!!!

By the way - Your g-tech isn't a waste. It is fantastic for just what you're doing. Work on 0-60 times. What happens after getting into third gear is the easy part(the car will do the rest for you). Don't worry about 1/4's on the street. The meter will give you partial readings if you don't complete a 1/4. Also if you're really into driving, the meter is fantastic for testing your suspension and tire settings for handling.

I just ran my 04 for the first time and I ran 13:89 with a 2.23 60 foot and a 102mph with poor traction but good air. The only mod I have is the K&N intake and MBov. Whats funny is the 2 other SRT-4's that were there with more mods than me like exhaust and stage 1, but they were only running mid 14's. [:'(]They were kinda pissed at me. I think their problems were poor launch and they had some sort of manual boost control setup that the computer didn't like. I can't explain it. I had fun though, especially when the mustang guy in his new Mach 1 with drag radials only got me by a nose. He didn't beleive my car was almost stock.

You're seeing 20 psi's w/o a MBC/EMC or you do have one. Cause i have a Stage 2 and all i get is 17-18 psi's depending on Air temp/Pressure.

yes I am seeing 20 psi

I recently brought my car to the track and was very disappointed I have stage 2 and many other mods and my best time was and 14 flat and I can't figure out why. My rt is good and my car is boosting I just can't get a good time any suggestions
I overlooked one thing. I assumed that you have tinkered with the following but just in case and also for others reading this:

Where are your Tire Pressures? It makes a HUGE difference.

And - Do you have motor mounts or inserts? - They will help you considerably. They will change your safe launch speed from like 1700rpm to, well, way higher.
