I ordered my AEM intake and AGP wastegate a few weeks ago and I finally got it last week. Do I need a boost controller to properly install and tune the wastegate? and do I need a Stage kit? [sm=boink3.gif]

 

If you are planning on turnin the boost up with your wastegate I would recommend getting stage 1 atleast... or you will throw an overboost code....but i also believe the stage one ecu pulls timing when boosting over 17psi ... correct me if i'm wrong.

You need at least Stage 1, but you dont need a BC, because the wastegate is adjustable by itself.

 

i dont have the agp but i have a stage 2 wastegate that holds 16 just fine ( so far )

 

stage one so the fing cel dont come on i have the agp wga it works fine with out the bc but i do know a few guys that do have both
