SRT-4 or Celica GT-S?
You still won't beat a SRT-4 in a 350Z because I proved that outside the gate at Fort Sam Houston...it's top end is weak. Plus it cost mucho more!!!![sm=smiley20.gif]

I have beaten a few z's too - all i've done is intake and bov and oil catch can. Have also roasted 330i's boxter s's and numerous others. Shockingly they include an old 440. boy was I surprised when I beat that one(so was he). I agree - I was beating z's straight out of the box.
The only two cars on the road that have beaten me so far are a Supra - Later I met the owner who informed me that he runs high 10's at the track and is pushing around 650 whp. and a civic dx that was obviously worked(it dusted me with no problem and was embarrasing) later I found that he was running a huge turbo and nitrous and runs low 11's(feel much better about it now) - Other than those my rear window sticker holds true ("You've Just Been Punked By A Neon")
Love punking all those cars. Couldn't have done it in any other sport compact.

I've been over to the Celica forum, and they were talkin a bunch of smack about the SRT-4. I saw the pictures of what happened to the Neon after the crash, and boy I'm startin to change my mind about the SRT-4. What are your guy's thoughts about the differences between the SRT-4 and the GT-S?

*Toyota TRD Celica GT-S
(0-60 in 7.4 & 1/4 mile in 15.8 @ 89.4 mph)
*Dodge SRT-4
(0-60 in 5.7 & 1/4 mile in 14.3 @ 100.9 mph)
Yeah performance wise there is no comparison..I dont know what the #'s are but I've raced a GT-S with intake and some other lil mods and it had no chance. I think they are nice lookin cars with rims on it. I dont think they are worth the $25,000 and change price tag and If your lookin at that then I would get a RSX-S before I got a GT-S.(Which I think is still cheaper than a GT-S) I think if your lookin in celica forum then your going to get more people tellin you to get a celica and the same with the SRT-4..Test drive them and then decide. Me personally... I never had a fast 4 cylinder car so the SRT-4 was what I was lookin for. Plus I love the way it looks as well. (except the back but after seeing dustyloins taillights I think it looks sweet!!!) Anyway good luck in your decision...peace

Those are some of the most mild damage accident cars I've seen, if anyone is wrried from seeing those pics then they need to get an old big pick up truck that is solid steel. The Celica in the same senario would probably be far worse and any car that gets T boned is gonna look extra bad and messed up.
A friend of mine was looking into getting a new car a year and a half ago and the two he was looking into getting were the Celica GT-S and the Tiburon GT V6. After test driving both in automatic form he prefered the GT-S, but when he drove them with a manual he switched. He also checked them out as far as performance difference and the Tiburon GT came out on top when the manual transmissions are used in both, so he currently owns an '03 Tiburon GT V6. He didn't want an SRT-4 because of the 4 door fact and he would only get a 2 door. If you like a car that turns high 15's stock, the get one of these two, but if you want a car that turns high 13's stock, you'll want an SRT-4. If you want ***** to the wall performance that virtually none can match or beat, the the SRT-4 is for you. And it will leave you with plenty of extra cash to play with.[sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley4.gif][sm=smiley2.gif]

Fast cars are great to have and fast cars with awesome handling are even better. If you can't control either then stick with a kia. I seen a guy curb a WRX becuase he thought his cars was on rails. His car bounced off the curb and he kept going up the on ramp and when I was behind him I noticed his back wheel was bent in. Lotsa damage and probably cost a fortune to fix.
