well i got my first one when i was 15. I totaled one, which was my dumbass fault....but the others just came and gone...i really lost interest in them. Esp. after i got my *** handed to me by a SRT4..and I had a girl in the car with me.. ha ha but thanks for the info guys, i'll be looking at the end of the year. Hopefully I can find one, cause I start my career and I can afford stuff I want now How much did yall end up paying for the car? I found a few nice ones on ebay...one was a 03 with 36k miles for 13,500..and in autotrader theres a 04 Redfire with 28k miles for 11,995. I'm guessing insurance isn't that bad either cause its a compact 4 dr?

Thanks guys!

Insurance IS high, even for an old guy like me with no tickets in 16 years. If you're a male under 25 and single it will be REALLY high.....

correction, "psi chick", you WERE the only one on here with an '03... i just bought mine, its on the truck right now..i should have it in less than 2 weeks... i wanted to buy a stock one and do all the work myself, but i couldnt pull that on my budget. as it is, im already selling my street bike to pay for the insurance on my srt... ($330/mo....i have a bad driving record)
anyway, i bought this '03 with an AEM EMS, AGP HP 61 b.b. turbo, and all the other necesities to run this hardware...the dyno sheet says 411hp @ 22psi on pump gas, and 486hp @ 28psi on race gas... i got this car the day it went up for sale, and i talked the seller down to $12,800...which, for the list of mods on the car, i think is good...only problem is that the car has 57,200 miles!!!
anyone have suggestions on what i might want to do to keep an srt with this much horsepower and this many miles running for a while as a daily driver? should i be worried?
also, does anyone know any good srt tunning shops in the south florida area?
and one last thing...the bike...its a '99 Yamaha R6 with mods (including a full yoshi exhaust and 520 chain with gears) im trying to get $4,000.00, but make me an offer becuase the bike has got to go soon!!

lmao....6 mustangs!!!I can relate to you...I've owned 3, and they were all fun...but they kept breaking every single day and it was too much money on parts and crap....if you're going to buy an srt go with an 04.03s are ok but you won't find one with low miles, and 05 have too many damn issues, throw codes like a bitch...trust me you'll be better off.
