Ah, now I get what they meant by "tone" ring. It's the crank signal ring that came apart.

Unfortunately, if you read the fine print on the Mopar Stage kits is they can void the drivetrain warrantee. Having said that, the Crank Signal ring should not have come apart like that, it's most likely a manufacturing defect that caused it. They may try to argue that it was caused by S3's higher rev limit though...

yes, they may be able to connect the S3 to causing the damage. if this is the case than warranty is void. now if they put it in writing that the S3 would not void the warranty or if they cannot prove that the upgrades caused the damage than warranty should cover it. the dealer here told me a S2 would NOT void the warranty, however i would require this in writing before installing it.

Yeah thanks and I know and just about 3 weeks before it happened I went in because of a "bumping" when stopping or starting and shifting. I had the 2 lower motor mounts tightened down by the dealership....so i guess that it would be possible that everything like flywheel, tranny, and other things may have been lose and not tightened.....and the motor mounts absorbed the "bump" so i did not feel it anymore.....Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

^i know your pursuing legal action, so its most likely going to be a battle of the experts in some type of arbitration/mediation.

Yup, for the amount of damages involved, it's very unlikely it will make it to an actual court case..........
