I have read it elsewhere, and now a local stealership says the same thing. "The Stage Turbo Upgrades require your old PCM to be returned"
I mentioned the note in the box that states the opposite, but this must be something new. He did say that availability was for July.

I guess they're running low on PCM's, so someone decided to try to make people return theirs when they upgrade. [:@]

 

Which Stage are we talking about? My Stage 1 came with the same paperwork, but with "NO CORE RETURN" stamped in big red letters on the the paperwork....

 

GIVE NO ONE YOUR OLD PCM!!!!!!!!! The turn-in request is an artifact of the DCX PCM ordering system and DOES NOT apply to Mopar Performance PCMs!!!!!!!!!

 

That's what I kinda figured. No way DCX was gonna get my old PCM when I ordered the new Stage 1 thru Modern Performance.....[&:]

 

Dusty - I mentioned the note inside to them...same response.

glhs937 - I would never turn it in. I still have a throttle body off my last vehicle because I refused to give it up.
There is a lot of talk right now about a shortage of PCM's and core returns...only through the stealerships though.

 

No mention of Modern Performance, Dusty. This was all going through a stealership.

 

Kinda makes you wonder who to trust/deal with....[:@]

 

If they want your old on then go elsewhere, plain and simple.
