I have a self timer on my camera but nowhere to set it on so I can be in pics.. I didn't know your camera was in danger of getting hit[sm=lol.gif]

yeah dusty i know how that can be... i have a huge training i have to keep up on with being an air craft mechanic. and to top it off my squadron gets these stupid ideas that i should do all my training up to the next 6 months. so next year around march im screwed with training.

 

I remember those days....but everywhere you go, it's the same. Next week I have split days off due to "Water Rescue Training", "CPR Recertification", "Building Entry/Safe Shooter" and some dude coming out to talk to us about why people become criminals.....we get paid for that one, at least.[&:]

 

y people become criminals lol thats lame... but im sure your getting paid a lot better than an E-3 lol.

 

Just build yourself a little platform out of books/magazines, use pieces of folded paper for wedges to raise the angle, if necessary. It may take several attempts....I worked up a sweat just getting the one on DF. The humidity here is unreal, just like Houston....[:'(]

My camera is a small Nikon 4300 Coolpix and the tripod is an eBay find, a 72" model for $17....very light, kinda flimsy, but it works for me....you just can't see the thing in the middle of the road.[&:]

 

Getting paid $12.87 an hour....deduct 3% for my retirement plan (PD contributes 7%). One sick day and one vacation day per month. Uniforms and SOME gear is furnished, but most of it is junk.....ya gotta sweet talk the Chief's secretary to get "good stuff"...[8D]

I can run but I can blade better...if it wasn't for my knee surgery I could run even better. Guess you can say my kick is worse than my bite[sm=smiley36.gif][sm=smiley36.gif] Thanks for the Sticker Dusty...It arrived here safely..am gonna add it to my other confederate collection for safe keeping

Summer is pretty lean for overtime. However, once school gets going again the football games start up, concerts increase due to the cooler weather, and then there are a ton of high school and college graduations in the spring. Gotta learn how to budget the money!!![sm=smiley36.gif]
