Default I got a problem...

Yea i'm new here, but o well. I got a question for ya'll. I'm getting a car, well i've owned two cars , nothin special just two pieces of junk to drive through the winter. But now i'm going to be getting a car. The thing is I cant decide which one to get. Its either the SRT-4 or the Subaru WRX(non sti). Gimme some feedback, I just wanna know which one would be the better choice... I appreciate all the feedback. thanks.

Well, I suppose that depends on what you are looking to get out of your car. If you are looking for good speed right out the box, then get the SRT4. I smoke non-STI WRXs all day. They don't even stand a chance. But on the other hand, if you are looking for a car that you can cruize through mountain passes in the snow with get the WRX. All wheel drive can be very beneficial. I wopuld say go test drive both and see which one feels better to you for they are arguments for both...

WRX = a terd.... SRT4 FTW ..... if you are looking for speed out of the box the srt4 will pull about 10 aircraft carrier links on a WRX

I agree with Plan B it depends entirely on what you're looking for. Subaru makes a great quality car, but in my opinion the WRX is one of the ugliest cars on the road. AWD would be great if you get a lot of snow, but if you're looking for speed and power I'd buy the SRT and never think twice.

A WRX was never on my radar screen for the reasons mentioned above, plus the nearest Subaru dealer has a bad reputation.........

AWD is great in the winter but so is a well behaved driver with FWD ...personaly thats a choice only you can make but the SRT is easier to mod, less of a pain in the *** to work on and faster stock for stock

a friend of mine had a wrx. he thought it was fast. he spent over 3k in mods on it (including it spending a good 6 weeks on jackstands in my driveway because of a brake kit). i spend 1200 on a s2 at the time. i kicked his *** by about 4 cars. he sold the wrx.

Yeah rex's don't tend to like modifications too much. Put the wrong thing on the car and it'll blow itself up (not literally but you know what I mean).

Test drive both. Then go home and write the following, Pros and Cons of both cars in your own opinion. That will help you decide.

I was thinking about getting a wrx 3 weeks ago before I got my srt4 and I test drove both and the srt4 felt so much better to me. More power and you gotta love the sound from the stock exhaust. The wrx isn't a bad car but bang for your buck srt4 all the way.

I agree with Plan B aswell test them both. But to give you advice i was comparing the EVO9, the STI and SRT4 with the difference in cost i bought the SRT4. Sticker on the evo and STI areover 30k, however the WRX RS is i think 14k-18k so its about the same price.
I would go with plan B's Idea. Hope i could help.
