Hard Pipes with bov?

Hard Pipes with bov?
How important and what difference will hard pipes add to a cars performance? I am thinking about getting cold side first with a bov, because ive been told that helps turbo life since there is less backpressure from unused boost. The last thing is should i get rid of my mopar bov or can i leave it and add a bov, many people say i have to put a block off plate but ive seen others have both.
Any input on this is appreciated thanks.

RE: Hard Pipes with bov?
There are pros and cons to hard pipes, more pros though. Hard pipes won't distort under boost causing less potential boost and less chance of lag or lessened throttle response. Being metal though they can transfer and hold heat more which can increase intake temperatures, whereas the rubber hoses insulate better but are prone to boost leaks if not properly tightened, which is true for the hard pipes as well. If you switch to hard pipes and intend on using an aftermarket BOV take out the Mopar BOV and put a block off plate in it's place. There is no point in having both BOV's at the same time, it will only sound odd and you will not benefit any from having 2 instead of 1.

RE: Hard Pipes with bov?
JMB is far from the best fitment but the best looking with the color options AGP is the only aftermarket hardpipe that uses silicone couplers as bends rathern then the piping itself, fitment is barnone compared to others. Not to mention the IAC sensor is soldered on rather then plugged in, preventing blow outs. Only draw back from the AGP is the necesity to use an aftermarket intake & will not fit an AEM short ram.
