Default more mods done.

Just put in clear corners, mds wires, dc steel brace and prothane mt. inserts last night.

Everyone MUST do something similar to the prothane. This is now a much different car. The whole powertrain just became connected for 30 bucks - mest, cheapest thing I've done.
Other than Jacking the passenger side to take off the front wheel all it is is a couple of blots to move and replace. Be on a flat surface and use a jack under the tranny w/a pad and it is an absolute cinch.
Plus I got a chance to rotate the tires - they needed it bad.

The stb makes the turn in performance feel less like a loose neon and more smooth and confident like (I hate to say(my old honda)). It was .88-9 g's stock and with a little air pressure and the stb and experience it is hitting .93's.

I don't know if its the mount inserts or the wires put the nasty sputter at idle is now smooth and silky.(and mean too, of course) It sounds a little different, too.

Did you "eyeball it" or use a torque wrench on your STB??

Awesome! Sounds like the inserts are the way to go. I have been wondering what the next hundred bucks or so is going to go to. Sounds like mounts and wires.

Nice, posthonda...I ordered the black prothane mm inserts along with S1 Turbo and some bulbs earlier this week from Modern.
Inserts and bulbs came today...I only wish S1 would be delivered so fast.
Any concerns about damaging the lower mount after installing upper inserts?

Dusty, I didn't torque mine down either. I tighened mine slightly before loosening them to get a good feel of where they needed to be.

That's the same thing I did (great minds think alike). Just curious if anybody had the exact numbers on the torque....hmmmm, maybe if I take in some breakfast tacos to the dealership at my next oil change.......[sm=smiley36.gif][sm=smiley20.gif]

I guess it's all about demographics. I would have to go with a box of Dunkin Munchkins, IF I ever find a dealer that I feel I can trust. I've spoken to 3 different ones over the phone and I'm not at all impressed.

It's a funny thing that you should mention these mods, I just received my DC CS-2 rear STB and my Prothane Race motor mount inserts (red) yesterday. The MSD wires are what smoothed out your idle, they allow hundreds of times more spark energy to reach the plugs. I will be going out to install this stuff today on mine, I was going to last night but I was too tired and just went to bed after work. Which motor mount inserts did you get and what version street or race?

I found one here that replaced my bad injector for free but blamed it on the intake. I'm sure you remember that but it is hard to find an srt knowledgable dealer.
