71RoadRunner has one on his, and is pretty good in explaining "how to do" things....However he is a "vampire" who only posts at night......(wee hours of the morning, to be exact), leaves no reflection in mirrors, cameras, etc, and is afraid of garlic and crosses........drives a black SRT-4....hide your daughters!!!!

He's cool, listen to what he says.....[sm=smiley16.gif]

I vant to zuck your vlood![sm=smiley36.gif][sm=smiley36.gif][sm=smiley36.gif][sm=smiley15.gif][sm=smiley2.gif]

If you have the same problem I did with one of the clamps being too small (the one that attaches the hose to the turbo inlet) you can pirate one from your stock intake tubes, you'll want to use the smaller of the two. It's pretty easy and straight forward from the instructions other than that minor problem. You will also need a very sharp knife or a razor for cutting some of the tape around the wiring harness that the sensor that goes into the intake tube is in. At first it will not reach the hole for the sensor in the K & N tube, but once you very carefully cut the wiring harness tape it will allow it to reach farther, just keep cutting the tape until the sensor is in place with no strain on the harness. Good luck getting the rubber strip around the inner fender hole, I had mine on but even the slightest touch will make it come off. I left mine off since the intake tube isn't touching any of it anyway.

You are going to love it, now you will finally be able to hear the turbo. When you really get into the throttle the turbo will scream with a nice loud whistle.[sm=smiley3.gif][sm=smiley4.gif] Good luck with your install.[sm=smiley20.gif]

Here is a finished pic and I have put a box around the part of the wiring harness that you have to very carefully cut the tape on to allow the sensor to reach:

I also have the K&N cai and had a very easy time with installation other than one clamp that wouldn't fit like RR said and I dropped an allen wrench in there. I also had the problem with the rubber guard for the fender hole and mine was still on last I checked. Finding the allen wrench took me longer than the installation did. Good luck. You should love the sound after you are done. It took me about a month before I stopped playing with the noise. I would push in the gas and let of just before I would shift so I could hear it. The gas mileage went way down so I stopped playing with it.

[sm=smiley36.gif][sm=smiley36.gif] I always have been and still remain a victim of mod fun fuel mileage loss syndrome.[sm=smiley2.gif][sm=smiley36.gif]

Is there a cure? Maybe I need more mods. I'll try it. Whatever it takes.
