Cheap and easy: Having fun with venting the orignal airbox and the hood
if u already haven’t installed a new intake for your srt-4 a free and easy as long as u have a dremel with a diamond cutting blade, wrench and some tape preferably painters tape. Now take the wrench and take the top part of the air box and put the screws back or if u want remove the hole air box its really not needed and adds a but load of un needed weight. After that look at the bottom of your hood and you will see a bubble with a hole that has been drilled or punched in to it that would sit above your air box look at the picture for a reference. The yellow line is where you need to cut. (Look at picture 2 for reference). Now cover the lower part that it’s not being cut with tape so if u put the dremel at to low of an angle you might screw up the paint the tape protects that. Now cut above the tape and remove the peace of metal. That is directly linked with the vent that’s on the front of the hood and your done. The air vent will help vent cool air to the front part the engine bay. The air vent is originally open on the rally srt-4 but for some reason was closed when the srt-4 when in to production.
