Turbo Sounds Like ****
Ok this is when it started i had just droped in the hardpipes and my big fmic. This was late at night too so i just put them in and went to bed when i was done. so i never really had the chance to mess with anything later on. i wake up the next day to go to work, so im driving and i punch it a little and the turbo sounds as if it was blowing off air. and the boost gauge was maxed out at 20psi every gear. so i just took it easy on my way to work not going over 3000rpms. i drove the car like this for almost two days without being able to adjust my wastegate. So i get a day off i get the time to adjust the wastegate so no everything is fine but the turbo starts to make the sound like when your car needs a valve job. now it does it all the time when i down shift and let go of the gas, when its just sitting on idle, but when i get it to boost it stops the noise. and ever since then the car wont pick up like it use to now i dont feel the pull untill like 5000rpms. it almost sound as if there was a rock in there and its being knocked around by the turbine. help help help
so do you have a valve tap or does it just sound like that? i guess you could triple check everything for leaks, or even throw the old stuff back on and see if it returns to normal, its even possible you got a defective part. besides, if it is the valvetrain, it would be advisable to put all that stock stuff back on before you take it to the dealer

Did you make sure that you got all the packaging **** out of the Intercooler and Hardpipes before installing them?Hopefully you didn't suck something in!

i got all of the stuff out of the intercooler i know that. I have been told by two dealer mechanics that the turbo was busted but i dont think so bc it does boost its running 15psi. so like you guys said im going to try and put all of the stock **** back on, or even just check for any leaks. thanks for the help!
You know i was just thinking.Did you make any adjustments to the WG before this started happening(like right before). When i installed my stage 2 i just put the WG on right out of the box without adjusting it and when i started it,it made a really bad metal to metal sound. So i took it off and loosened it up and it went away.
Well thanks to eveyone on this forum i found the problem to my madness and i fixed it. it was a torn air line and loose bolt on my waste gate. so now the problem has been solved thanks again guys.
