If his car is good for 13.7 stock and his is slightly modded and yours was only at the back of his door, then you should be good for a mid-high 13. You will only be about .05-.1 sec. slower than him at the most. This is provided that you both drive equally well and can do the 1/4 with the same ability of the magazines drivers.

Personally the mopar bov would be the last one I'd buy. It sounds like someone exhaling really loud. You don't get that high pitched sound that attracts attention. The mopar bov is probably the cheapest one you can buy. It's also probably the easiest one to install. I think you have to buy a hard pipe to install any other one. Correct me if I'm wrong. Even with all that I preffer a greddy or an hks.

I have the Greddy Type S with ED Pipes and a TurboXS MBC. I love how the greddy sounds.

You are correct about all other BOV's requiring a hard pressure pipe, except the Forge which is almost the same as the Mopar BOV. The Mopar BOV is actually louder than most, if not all other BOV's. The high pitched sounds as opposed to the flater burst of air is a matter of preferance. The high pitched BOV's seem kinda weak to me, but they all sound pretty good, I just prefer the more explosive Mopar BOV sound. If you plan to run high boost, above 18 psi, I suggest the aftermarket BOV's since they hold under higher boost pressures where the stock purge valve has a weaker spring and may leak boost.
